Housing Policy for the National Leadership Conference (NLC)

FBLA and PBL reservations will only be accepted at the hotel your state has been assigned. State housing assignments with reservation instructions can be found below.

Registrants must stay at designated NLC conference hotels per the FBLA-PBL Board of Directors. FBLA-PBL has worked with the convention bureau to negotiate and contract for favorable housing rates for attendees which include access to free shuttle bus services to and from the convention center throughout the conference, discounted rates for multiple guests per room, and use of hotel facilities.  Chapters benefit by staying in a designated NLC conference hotel through networking opportunities and negotiated services (e.g., complimentary Internet, discounted parking, discounted meals, etc.).

Housing Waitlists

We are working with the housing bureau to secure additional housing for the National Leadership Conference. If you have not already booked your rooms and received a waitlist notification, please proceed with booking into the waitlist for your assigned hotel. If we are unable to secure additional rooms at your assigned hotel, an alternate PBL hotel will be assigned to you. Notifications of new assignments will be sent 5-7 days after housing closes on May 19.

We will contact State Advisers prior to any change in hotel assignments, as rates may differ from your originally assigned hotel.

Reservations cancelled after May 19, 2022 will be subject to a $25 cancellation fee.

If a cancellation occurs within 72 hours of arrival date, the hotel will charge one night’s room and tax.

Instructions for Booking Rooms

Reservations

Reservations must be booked using the link below.

  • Up to 10 Rooms – You can book a maximum of 10 rooms at one time within your block but all rooms must have the same arrival and departure dates and room type to be booked together, or you must book rooms one at a time.
  • More than 10 Rooms –  If you need to book more than 10 rooms, please click here for instructions.

Reservation Confirmation – Follow the prompts until you have submitted your reservation(s) and receive a reservation acknowledgement number. You will also receive email acknowledgements within 5-15 minutes of submitting your reservations online.

Rooming List Deadline

The rooming list deadline is May 19, 2022.

After this date, rooms without individual names assigned will be released and returned for sale to general attendees and the cancellation policy will go into effect.

Changes and Cancellations

Before June 15, 2022 – Changes and cancellations to reservations can be with Orchid the following ways:

  • Clicking the link located in the right column of the email confirmation
  • Calling 888-341-3943 or 801-797-0969
  • Emailing FBLA@orchid.events

After June 15, 2022 – Changes and cancellations will need to be done with the hotel directly.

  • NOTE: Some hotels may choose to take full control of all reservations and remaining inventory as early as May 31, 2022. This is completely up to the hotel’s discretion and Orchid.Events has no control of if/when this will occur.

Reservations cancelled after May 19, 2022 will be subject to a $25 cancellation fee.

If a cancellation occurs within 72 hours of arrival date, the hotel will charge one night’s room and tax.

Payment Instructions

You can pay by credit card at time of reservation.

If paying by check, checks must be received no later than 10 days prior to check-in. If the check does not cover the full stay, guest will not be able to check-in unless a credit card for remainder is provided. Checks can be sent to:

Chaperone/Advisors are required to provide a credit card at check-in for each room in case of damage. The card will not be charged unless damage has occurred, and you will be notified by the hotel prior to being charged.
