DAY ONE  – IFL Journey Track Overview

Project Management Every journey calls for a reliable map to guide you to your destination, but more importantly, it calls for a strong planner, communicator, and leader to use that map wisely.

Project Management

The Project Management Track will teach you vision planning, goal setting, customer-experience mapping, situational analysis, metrics and reporting, and strategic thinking. You will leave with a project GPS system to help you communicate, delegate, empower, and inspire your team to execute all the projects that are sure to come in your business journey!

PBL Best in Business Box Lunch

Every smart traveler needs fuel for the journey! Join us for an exclusive luncheon where you will have the opportunity to dine with local business leaders and gain tasty insights from successful executives. IFL’s Best in Business Box Lunch will allow you to practice your networking skills, learn about different industries, and hear firsthand accounts of career paths and best practices in business directly from today’s business leaders. [Lunch is included
in PBL IFL Registration for Day 1.

DAY TWO – Choose Your Own Adventure Pathways

Wednesday, June 24

Every good road trip has room for detours, flexible itineraries, and unexpected adventures. On day two of IFL, take the opportunity to go outside of your primary track and explore other specialized topics and experiences in FBLA-PBL Pathways! Pathways are 30-minute power sessions you’ll choose onsite at IFL! A skilled traveler needs a backpack full of tools he or she can use when obstacles and roadblocks appear.

A variety of workshops will be available to teach you how to navigate detours, build bridges through communication, how to stay on course as a leader, and how to take the road less traveled. Choose your own path and gather great tools you need to guide you on your leadership journey through our series of 30-minute power sessions.

Take an exciting adventure into entrepreneurship and innovation! In this PBL Pathway, members will learn to turn great ideas into a successful pitch. You and your team will develop a concept, build a business case, and pitch your idea to expert entrepreneurs. Pack your bags for the twists and turns of competing to win the PBL Pitch Competition!

PBL Power Pathway

PBL Social Entrepreneurship Pathway

Trailblazers and pioneers have a special knack for seeing our biggest challenges as their greatest opportunities. The social entrepreneurship pathway teaches you how to recognize social problems and use entrepreneurial principles to make change! You will learn the core concepts of social entrepreneurship and changemaking through the 21st century skills you need to succeed in and contribute to the world around you.
